Born in the American South and raised in the remote wilderness of Alaska, M.T. Solomon has been writing books since she was six years old. She graduated from Portland State University in 2012, where her studies focused primarily on women writers throughout the world. Solomon's writing takes cues from her childhood, where the vast setting of Alaska seemed just as much a character in her life story as she did. She resides in Alaska with her husband and three sons, where she coaches high school volleyball and is an avid advocate for female athletics.
