The capital is in ruin, and with the truth of her powers revealed, Raelyn Forthgrew awakens to face the consequences of her actions. She’s saved the kingdom, but at what cost?
With Laris at her side, Raelyn must journey to the Holy Citadel, where she’ll be thrust deeper into the complex, morally muddled domain of the gods. A cosmic cycle is on the horizon, threatening to weaken the world’s magic and release the Nameless God once more.
The world is falling into disarray. Forgotten magic is emerging. Feyfolk are choosing sides. Corruption is spilling blood in the capital. The world is counting on Raelyn to protect it, to claim her place as Holy King. But even that might not be enough to stand against the will of the gods.
